Overview

Senior Ruby Engineer – Rails, AWS, Javascript, UK Remote/London This is a permanent position, paying £70-80k for the right candidate, plus benefits. Senior Ruby Developer with strong commercial experience building out high availability platforms using Ruby on Rails, AWS, Javascript, to work with a rapidly growing tech firm, building out a complex data driven pricing analytics platform. As a senior Ruby Engineer you will work closely with the CTO to drive product innovation, creating and integrating APIs, building out scalable platform via micro services architecture and using AWS to deploy. The overall product objectives are to create machine learning models to mine the data and identify strategies and create meaningful data insights, create data visualisations for customers to utilise and integrate more important data inputs. Key experience in Ruby on Rails, AWS, Javascript, building APIs and working in a modern Agile environment, along with knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and Git. The company are set up for distributed working so can support candidates either working in their central London office, working remotely within the UK (must be eligible to work in the UK) or a mix of both. There are the occasional onsite meeting for business critical reasons but month to month you can work fully remotely if preferred.
