Business Analyst – Regulatory -Change-Software Development Business Analyst – Regulatory-Change-Software Development required by an innovative and market- leading Energy Company working from their easily commutable head office in Zone1 Central London . This is an exciting opportunity to work for a highly respected Company that invests massively in retaining the top talent with a very large training budget and bespoke career progression plans.You can also work from home twice a week.As a Business Analyst – Regulatory-Change-Software Development you will work on a variety of large and exciting change management projects, with a particular focus on regulatory initiatives. Key responsibilities of the Business Analyst – Regulatory -Change-Software Development: · Work closely with the Design and Operational teams to ensure that regularity and operational changes are scoped and delivered within appropriate timeframes. · Facilitate requirements workshops and develop the Business Cases, Business Requirements, Business Process Models and operational User Interface wire frame models where appropriate. · Clarify the business impact of a proposed change, and contribute to the benefit analysis and business case; · Liaise with team members and other key stakeholders to sufficiently capture detailed requirements which facilitate system and business process design, testing, and deployment. · Lead on and take ownership of major software application deployments for IT system and business process improvements. · Document detailed and high -level impact assessments, and the resultant system and process requirements as requested to ensure the overall solution meets the customers’ needs within regulatory and operational deadlines. · Communicate via the most appropriate techniques (e.g. presentations, workshops, group and 121 training) the business impact of the proposal, and ensure that everyone involved in the change proposal understands the requirements and how the solution addresses them Essential Requirements of the Business Analyst – Regulatory -Change-Software Development: ? Proficiency in questioning techniques and rational analysis; ? Ability to translate complex regulations and governance requirements into the systems and processes that deliver a service requirement to a customer; ? Ability to comprehend complex information and process it into understandable written and illustrative forms, which includes reports, presentations and training interventions; ? Proficient in a range of techniques for business process improvement, requirements elicitation (e.g. interviews, workshops), requirements management and business modelling. ? Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint. ? Experience in working within a regulatory setting, desirably within an IT service provider setting. ? Be familiar with the software development life cycle and Waterfall and Agile Methodologies. ? Familiarity with Enterprise Architect and / or equivalent Model Driven UML tools, JIRA or equivalent (desirable) ? Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project. ? BCS Business Analysis Diploma (desirable) As a Business Analyst you will receive a base salary of up to £45,000 plus bonus and extensive benefits, including minimum 28 days holiday increasing to 32, contributory pension where the Company will double your contribution up to a maximum of 18%, private medical, subsidised gym, childcare vouchers, season ticket loan, generous training budget to name but a few.
