Overview

We are looking for an Application Developer / Technical consultant with strong C# and Client facing skills to work for a growth software company in central London. A Developer who wants to work autonomously with clients, consulting and managing projects to build customised applications and reports; intuitive user interfaces; and data integrations. You will be working on applications or integrations from the backend right through to the frontend. This is a chance to acquire interesting Industry knowledge of a software specialist company, client-facing experience and move into a Senior Consultant This is a rare opportunity to join an influential team and start to manage projects immediately; gathering requirements for customised reporting solutions and moving on to focus on integration projects. You will be part of a specialised team within a larger company that has the processes but not the red-tape. You want the opportunity to act as the primary point person on the project, with the freedom to code creatively, see your progress and fully own the results. You will be pushed to work, develop, communicate and grow. This is a role where every day is different; the variety of problems to solve and the business needs of clients are continuously changing. You will gain insights into how a range of companies operate and the solutions you design and develop may be adopted as a larger product feature, expanding our existing frameworks. So, how do we know you are the next Application Developer, Consulting Services, you have: The communication skills. The confidence to ask probing questions, articulate choices and explain decisions clearly. The ability to hear client requirements and translate into actionable technical specifications. The consulting skills: The ability to positively impact the work of an external team directly; traveling to client sites when necessary. The state of mind to grow into an influential, trusted advisor. The ability to adapt to every client’s needs. The ownership. The motivation to work autonomously, take direction when and thrive in a fast-paced environment. (maybe this part needs to be emphasized more, as that is a key part of the type of person we need). The software solutions experience. The ability to code software and develop web applications according to published standards, design guidelines and technical specifications. Experience with C# (WPF a plus) and reporting with SSRS, Excel or Tableau. The passion for new technology.
