Software Developer £35,000 Chester ShortList Recruitment are recruiting for a Software Developer with broad technical interests to join a highly reputable, forward thinking company based in Chester. The Software Developer will have a commitment to good engineering, experience of working in an Agile environment and be comfortable working with other developers and a an analyst team. The Software Developer will be working alongside a team of .NET Developers at all levels to work on Greenfield redevelopment of the next generation of applications for the business as it moves it's systems and technologies forward. Key skills for the Software Developer include: C# .NET MS SQL Server Entity Framework SOLID design principals An understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or TFS. Desirable skills include: WPF, XAML, UWP development experience NUnit, MS Test, TDD Unity IOC Creating software in an Agile environment Examples of self-driven development or your own projects The Software Development team favour being cross-skilled as much as possible so there will be opportunities for the Software Developer to work in every aspect of the application development as well as different technologies as they move forward with their development plan.
