Accounts Payable role; elements of Customer Service & Credit Control make this a varied and interesting post Accounts Payable Assistant Permanent - full time Port Talbot £18-20,000 per annum This role represents a superb opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to join a well established company. You will be working as part of a small and friendly team, taking full responsibility for the Purchase ledger and covering other areas of transactional accounting, such as sales ledger, credit control and reconciliations. You will be working for a highly supportive Finance Manager, who will support you in your career development. This role has the potential to be highly variedit will be a great opportunity to build your CV and gain some superb experience in the manufacturing industry. There will also be opportunity for professional study with time; this role could be the one to get your accountancy career off the ground. The finance team are excellent; forward thinking and commercial, they are also happy to "muck in" and get involved with the transactional day to dayso you will get lots of support & examples of best practice in a highly collaborative and congenial team environment You must be a real "people person" who excels at building good working relationships with your suppliers and colleagues, and possess a real eye for detail; accuracy is a critical component of this role. Experience in computerised accountancy software such as SAGE 200/500, SAP or Opera would be advantageous.
