Management Accountant -TV Production -Thriving UK Indie Scale-up -Rapid growth: excellent career prospects -£50,000 superb benefits Superb opportunity for a newly/recently Qual ACCA/CIMA to join this multiple-award winning media production scale-up in a broad & business facing role. TV or wider media experience essential. Excellent career progression working in this thriving, creative & fun industry. Main Responsibilities: ·Full responsibility for the monthly management reporting - P&L, Balance Sheet, variance analysis ·Work closely with Production Accountants to maximise recoveries within production budgets ·Preparation of accurate weekly cash flow ·Group VAT returns to HMRC and dealing with all HMRC correspondence ·Oversight of distribution revenues ·Assistance on completion of annual external audit and internal audit ·Posting off all payroll journals (including Production) ·Maintain central staff salaries forecast ·Maintain the month end checklist and following up with the team to ensure the deadlines are met ·Support to finance and production teams on GL system ·Provide support and cover to the wider finance team as required ·Manage a Finance Asst ·Ad-hoc project & analysis work as directed by the FC/FD You are a newly/recently qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of month-end in a TV or related Media/Entertainment industry. The ability to quickly establish credibility with sales and business teams and take a bigger picture view whilst still keeping a tight reign on the financials is paramount .
