NEW VACANCY - Senior Software Engineer (C++, PHP, Python, JavaScript) Location: Central London Salary: Competitive Benefits About the company: GSA Techsource is currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer for an award winning market leader of cutting edge solutions into the media and entertainment industry. Our client specialises in forensic searching across multiple broadcasting avenues working with some of the biggest names across entertainment, sports broadcasting and streaming services. The business is technology led and can offer excellent exposure into growing your technical skill and knowledge as well as working with highly talented and whom are some of the top 5% of the Russel Group Graduates. About the Role: This is an interesting and challenging role in which you will work as a senior software engineer in part of a team of developers, in a fast-moving environment. You will be working on a large-scale distributed application used by many major global media companies from satellite/ cable broadcasters to sports rights owners, in order to manage the security of their premium video content. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and have strong team leading skills. This is a fantastic opportunity with an expanding company offering training, career progression and recognition Key Skills: BSc/MSc/PhD in relevant subject or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of C++, JavaScript, PHP and Python Skilled in working with AWS Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL Ability to work to strict deadlines Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
