Overview
Senior Buyer West London Our client is a Major Global FMCG Organisation who have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Buyer who will be part of the Indirect Procurement team and manage the FM category spend across Europe including Utilities, Waste, MRO and Catering. Travel is a key part of this role as factories are based across Europe. Key Requirements: Drive the strategic sourcing spend across the European Business Own and execute sourcing strategies Manage and develop supplier relationships ensuring value add, cost savings and innovation Demonstrate high level Procurement and technical category expertise to drive the group sourcing and agenda Engage effectively with stakeholders, challenging and driving improvements Manage category cost base in-line with budget and drive continuous improvement projects Responsible for setting the strategy on a European business and driving cost optimisation across the Group Ensuring the buying strategy enables flexibility and agility for the manufacturing footprint to transform Person Specification: Ideally degree qualified or equivalent CIPS qualified or studying Experience of managing procurement within FM category, ideally within an FMCG organisation Lead from the front in terms of delivering a robust strategy for cost savings Have experience of influencing and driving stakeholder engagement Strong negotiation skills, tendering and contracting Impact and Influence - Communicates with real passion, ownership and commitment Pan-European experience - Sourcing Proven delivery of tangible benefits in quality, service, innovation and cost savings Ideally language skills within English and one other European language
