Overview

We are currently seeking a passionate and fostering focused Children's social worker to take on an exciting and challenging role for a not for profit ‘good’ agency. Their Social Workers provide one to one support to their Foster Carers and typically have a lower workload than those in local authority and many other Individual Fostering Services meaning that they can offer more of a responsive and bespoke service. With a therapeutic approach and a child focused and supportive environment this position suits someone looking for a fresh opportunity within fostering. The position would ideally be suited to a Social Worker with experience in the Fostering Sector and with a proven track record of supporting and assessing Foster Carers and contributing towards excellent outcomes for children and young people. As an integral member of the team you will adopt a child-centred approach with emphasis placed on safeguarding the well-being of children placed with the IFA through careful matching with our foster carers. You will forge effective partnerships when offering professional support to local authorities, foster carers and children in placement.
