Overview
Hours - Waking nights including weekends and bank holidays Do you believe everyone should have a place to call home and the chance to lead a fulfilling life? SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment. We need people who want to work waking nights to provide cover in our Young Peoples Accommodation Services in North London. Do you have what it takes to join our team? Our waking night staff provide an overnight point of contact for our young people, you must have some experience of working with ages 16 plus and Young Persons and ideally in a residential setting. Our shifts include weekends and bank holidays. We are looking for candidates who: Have a genuine passion for working with people. Are looking for night working hours. Can manage the sometimes complex behaviours our clients may present with and can adapt to fit with those varying needs. Can fit in with teams. Have a flexible, resilient, thoughtful and committed approach to their work. You must be self motivating and energetic & reliable.
