Overview
Our client based in North London is currently recruiting Temporary Waking Night Residential Children’s Support Workers. For the right candidate this role could become permanent. Waking night £30 per night Day £12 per hour If you are looking for an exciting and challenging career, this opportunity may be of interest to you. You will provide care, direction and support to young people who may display challenging and disruptive behaviours, emotional and social difficulties. Working within a supportive environment you will be part of a team dedicated to caring for young people with compassion and a commitment to positive relationships. Duties to include but not limited to: Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care Provide high quality child care practice Support the Registered Home Manager to ensure that a warm, nurturing, accepting environment is evidenced, delivered and developed Requirements: Ability to interact with a range of people/young people Ability to work as part of a team Provide consistency of care and support to the young people Desire to work with children who may display challenging behaviour Shift work including weekends, evenings & sleep in duties on a rota system Undertake housekeeping and maintain standards of hygiene within the home This is a Temporary role but could possibly become permanent Please note only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered
