£50,000 - £55,000 p/a | 42 Hour Contract – Days | Nurse or Non-Nurse Manager Considered | Elderly & Dementia Home – Good CQC A small Surbiton nursing home has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Home Manager with a background in elderly care to lead the team and develop the service. The 40 bedded home offers elderly frail, dementia and disability care in a home from home setting in a quiet residential area and is family owned and operated. Details of this Registered Home Manager position and what the home is offering: A permanent contract of 42 hours per week, usually working flexible day shifts but with some flexibility required due to the seniority of the role A competitive annual salary in the region of £50,000 to £55,000 depending on experience A workplace pension scheme with 5% matched contributions and a death in service scheme As CQC Registered Manager, you will coordinate and oversee the day to day running of the home, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service that doesn’t compromise on quality of care or life. You will deliver effective clinical leadership and line management to the clinical and non-clinical teams in addition to managing budgets and resources. Applications will be considered from nurse and non-nurse qualified Home Managers and applicants should meet the following criteria: NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN OR have successfully completed a recognised management qualification such as NVQ Level 4, Diploma Level 5 or the Registered Managers Award Demonstrate proven experience in the management of a UK nursing home A strong leader and able to motivate, lead and support clinical and non-clinical staff Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC essential standards and all legislation relevant to a UK nursing home Financially aware and able to manage and adhere to budgets If you are interested and would like more information, please call James Grice at SYK Recruitment now on 020 3963 0363 .
