Overview
SOCIAL WORKER - COURT TEAM - HARINGEY Service Care Solutions is looking for a Qualified Children's Social Worker to be a part of the Court Team for Haringey Council. The position will require the individual to undertake child protection enquiries, assessments and to work with children subject to a child protection plan. This is a permanent position. SALARY - £32,548 - £43,684 CLOSING DATE - Wednesday 25th March 2020 HOW TO APPLY - If you are interested in this role, send your CV now to Jennifer at jennifer.lynchservicecare.org.uk or alternatively call 01772 208964 QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE •Enhanced DBS •HCPC Registration •Relevant Social Work Qualification •Evidence of post-qualification continuing professional development •Experience of working directly with children and young people and their families •Experience of analysing risk in child protection and planning appropriate interventions ROLE REQUIREMENTS •Ability to work in anti-discriminatory way with all service users •Knowledge of, and skills in, social work methods to promote positive change in accordance with assessed need, including ability to work directly with children and young people at times of change and loss •Flexibility to work out of hours when necessary and to undertake any other temporary duties consistent with the basic duties and/or objectives of the post •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •A knowledge and understanding of permanency planning to include adoption, special guardianship and long term fostering About Haringey Council We are investing in creating a better borough for all our residents and improving the lives of children and young people in Haringey is our first corporate priority.
