Sous Chef - Food Led Pub in Taunton - Somerset - to £28,000 Competitive salary to £28,000 depending on your experience Full time contract (max 46 hours per week) Established business with excellent reputation Sous Chef Jobs in Taunton Rhubarb Hospitality Recruitment is searching for a Sous Chef for a privately owned food led pub in Taunton, Somerset.The food offering is based around a fresh, locally sourced modern British menu. Food emphasis is on non-fussy, non complicated, but amazing, home cooked food, prepared and presented to the very best standards. Candidates applying must have a stable background working in similar high-quality fresh food kitchens as either Senior CDP or Sous Chef. The restaurant is popular with both locals and with those travelling further distances to enjoy what has become a reliable and consistently excellent place to eat and drink. Covers are regularly in the region of 100, with Sunday lunch times being even busier. The kitchen brigade is stocked with a stable team of 5 chefs plus KP’s and led by a well-respected Head Chef that cares for the food that the kitchen delivers and has a real passion for really good food. We are looking for a Sous Chef that shares this same passion and who can support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen forward into a continuingly successful future. Applicants should have good people management skills and be happy to help the Head chef in all kitchen management duties. Salary is to £28,000, dependent on your experience, for a fixed 46 hour per week contract over 4.5 days per week. The company prides itself in ensuring a good work/life balance for all staff.
