Overview
The Role: As a result of continued success and corresponding increase in workload, the North American Claims Division is currently looking for an experienced North American Property Claims Professional to join the team. Are you looking to further develop your career in Property claims? Do you have the ability to manage and broke large complex claims emanating from the USA, including hurricanes, wild fires and floods? If so then this role could be for you Key Responsibilities: As the successful candidate you will be managing a variety of claims emanating from the USA/Canada. Your portfolio will consist of open market / binder business on a wholesale basis. You will be managing claims from first advice to final settlement including major accounts both direct and co-insured. For major Clients/Insureds, to maintain the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers. The successful candidate will have solid experience of North American Property claims and should be looking to make that next step in their career Key Skills: The successful candidate will also have a good understanding of the London market along with the necessary contacts and will be technically able to manage complex property claims. You will also be proficient in using the London market systems (e.g. ECF, CLASS) along with the customary Microsoft applications. ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.
