Overview

We are looking to recruit an Account Manager to join our Major Risk Practice team. We're a friendly, open and versatile group of professionals who are all driven to succeed. You will be responsible for establishing a book of new clients and renewal portfolios, providing a quality service and consistently meeting client demands and needs in order to achieve optimum profitability retention rates and growth. The role would benefit from someone who is organised, has dealt with global programmes and is keen to get stuck in to a busy and dynamic environment. You'll be able to extract the correct information out of every conversation, staying on track and focused to resolve the challenges that arise. We would love for you to come from a similar background and have superb communication skills, coupled with a natural problem solving ability; you take pride in achieving your objectives. Your Role ·You bring together renewal terms for customers and seek potential alternatives for them. It's all about providing the best options for your customer and building incredible relationships with clients and customers. ·You're aim is clear, help us to achieve our results. Sounds simple doesn't it? It's not just about the results, it's about the journey and interaction too. As a strong and clear communicator, you creatively outline what we will achieve and have a set plan around how we're going to get there. ·As we work in a regulated environment, it's critical that we are accurate with the inputting of our customer details. You have focus and dedication to making sure this happens properly. ·You have strong interpersonal skills to allow you to successfully handle all client and insurer queries as well as internal and external queries . It will enable you to succeed in seeking out commercial opportunities and partnerships alongside promoting and selling applications and services to our clients. ·You adopt organisational quality in the workplace to ensure cover is in place by a set renewal date. It's down to you to meet and exceed your clients' needs. Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience ·Have you achieved or are you working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications? It would be fantastic if you have and also educated to degree level or equivalent. ·You have existing knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyd's and Industry) products, services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices. Previous demonstrable experience in Account Executive or Broker role; comfortable working to targets. ·The role requires experience of dealing with complex customer relationships and as such, you will need to have a validated understanding of Insurance industry activities. ·Worked to challenging deadlines and able to anticipate transformation; able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information. You can spot potential risks and seek advice when required. ·You'll be a strong negotiator, influential with all parties and gain esteemed credibility amongst your peers, internal and external stakeholders. We rely on you to have strong decision-making skills and to use them at your validated judgement. ·You motivate others to achieve whilst being committed to learning and developing your own knowledge. ·You pride yourself on having knowledge of your client market and insurance industry network. ·You are eligible to work in the UK and comfortable with travelling to other sites.
