Overview

My client is seeking to recruit a Trainee Loss Adjuster to join their entertainment and events team to handle a mixed portfolio of claims. The losses will involve contingency claims involving local and global sports events, conferences, exhibitions, general events and theatrical and non-appearance, which would cover music claims for UK and global music promoters and major touring artists. Full training will be provided, and you will learn about insurance, loss adjusting and the entertainment market. You will assist on claims for an initial period, with the longer term aim that you will proactively investigate claims and report thereon, in compliance with prevailing client requirements / service standards and providing exceptional customer service throughout. The role requires you to investigate policy liability and quantum, gathering evidence to support your recommendations in a timely manner and in compliance with client requirements. To be successful in the role, you will have an events and/or entertainment background since it involves an extensive review of contracts for events and guarantees for artists/promoters and event organisers. You will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, be keen to learn, enthusiastic and have excellent client liaison skills. Full training will be provided in the technical aspects of the event and music industries together with the relatively unique nature of those insurance policies. This is an excellent opportunity to train and learn about the Loss Adjusting field. If successful, you can expect a generous salary, along with benefits and huge earning potential.
