Overview
Junior Trader - FX Alphachain Capital is a leading proprietary cryptocurrency & FX trading firm based in London and Surrey. The firm specialises in short-medium term positions in large-cap cryptocurrencies and major FX markets and is now seeking to bring on a number of talented individuals who have the motivation and passion to become professional prop traders. We are seeking both experienced and new prop traders to join our trading floor and manage our capital. Our trading team includes experienced prop traders with extensive institutional experience at top tier banking institutions who manage the company’s capital and help to train our juniors traders. Successful candidates will have a passion for the industry and motivated to learn to trade professionally at one of the UK's leading FX & cryptocurrency trading firms. Those who are successful will begin trading as a full-time independent Junior Prop Trader across major FX markets with a guaranteed $10k trading account. Capital increases will be provided at set target achievements. Prop trading is 100% performance based and all of our prop traders are self-employed. This is not a salaried position. In-house and remote positions available. REQUIREMENTS A strong interest in financial markets Excellent communication skills with other team members and staff Ambitious and motivated to succeed and learn new skills Good emotional intelligence Experience is not necessary however experience in financial markets or other areas of finance would be beneficial Punctual and professional at all times PROCESS If you do not have a 12-month profitable track record and pass the initial interview stages you will be required to attend our 4-week CPD certified Junior Trader Programme. It is an intensive CPD certified trader training programme for those serious about a trading career in financial markets, delivered by experienced traders and mentors. There is a fee payable for students attending the training due to trader mentoring, platform implementation costs and allocation of a seat on our trading floor. Those who pass the interview process will be invited to join the Junior Trader programme with guaranteed starting capital $10,000 to trade and begin their career as a Junior Prop Trader. Those with at least a 12-month profitable track record can join our Trader Incubator programme with the potential of immediate funding. Limited positions available so please apply promptly. LOCATION The role is based on our trading floor is based in Redhill, Surrey (30 mins from London Bridge or Victoria). Remote positions also available. EXPECTED EARNINGS First year OTE of £50,000, remuneration based on performance. All of our traders are self-employed or manage their own limited companies. Since proprietary trading is 100% performance based, this is a commission based job only. Start date: ASAP
