THE ROLE The main responsibility of this role are as follows: Develop and deploy analytical tools Work with traditional and new alternative data sources Deliver high impact solutions Lead relationships with commercial teams Work with trade across the energy spectrum Significant contribution in building models Provide scalable solutions for use by commercial teams Use algorithms to make trade Work alongside traders to build sufficient systematic trading models Generate additional value Problem solve on a daily basis YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE PhD in quantitative discipline preferred Industry experience in Data Analysis and Predictive modelling in an investment bank, hedge fund or energy major Advanced Machine Learning, probability and statistics knowledge Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis and analytic approaches Exceptional programming skills Advanced knowledge of scripting languages Efficient problem solver Effective social and networking skills Strong team working skills Ability to educate stakeholders Experience in commodity and financial markets SALARY AND BENEFITS Earning potential up to £100,000 Discretionary bonus a number of benefits HOW TO APPLY Please register your interest by sending your CV to Charlotte York via the apply link on this page
