Overview
Job Title: Field Service Engineer Salary: £34,000 to £37,000 Based: King's Lynn (and surrounding areas) Benefits: Company Pension Scheme, BUPA, Comprehensive bonus structure, Opportunity to join share ownership scheme The Company Whale Tankers is one of the largest manufacturers of liquid waste tankers and jetting equipment in Europe. The Field Service Engineer position will include Servicing vehicles On site repairs Commissioning equipment Building and maintaining customer relations Regular lone working Completion of all documentation in a timely manner Identifying opportunities for additional work and reporting this Ensuring all tools and equipment are calibrated and van stock up to date Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area Adhere, and work, to Health and Safety regulations The Field Service Engineer will have an understanding of the majority of the following areas and an interest in those they don’t have Vehicle Electrics Pneumatics Hydraulics General Mechanical Skills Fault finding skills Whilst not essential knowledge of commercial vehicles or agricultural machines would be beneficial A full UK driving licence A willingness to travel with some overnight stays Excellent customer facing skills Ability to work under pressure It is essential that you are able to work in confined spaces You will be required to visit the Solihull based factory on a regular basis What the company will offer Excellent Salary and bonus schemes Company Pension Scheme BUPA Comprehensive bonus structure Opportunity to join share ownership scheme Flexible working pattern within a 43.75 hour week to include 1 in every 3 Saturdays Some overtime is required How to apply To apply for the role of Field Service Engineer, please click on the Apply button and complete a short application process.
