Overview
Account Handler required to join a very well respected insurance broker due recent growth within one of its new business teams. You will deal with SME clients across a range of business sectors, following up warm leads and handling new business quotations. You will be involved in the full process from quotation stage up until putting the client on cover, whilst ensuring all clients needs are met. Classes of insurance will typically include PI, D&O, Cyber, Crime, and other Commercial lines. For this role it is important you can demonstrate first rate communication skills. You will ideally have a flair for sales and have some previous experience of acquiring new business. Previous experience of working within the general insurance sector would be an advantage, however our client would also be keen to hear from ambitious individuals who have strong telephone sales skills from a previous role, and feel they could make the transition to the insurance sector. Above all, you will be able to demonstrate a real positive attitude, with the aptitude to take on further development. In return you can expect excellent training to advance your skills in dealing with commercial insurance clients along with a competitive basic salary and benefits package. You will also be eligible for your own personal monthly bonus on top of your base salary.
