Overview
Marks Sattin are exclusively partnering with one of the most prestigious, reputable Technology businesses in the Thames Valley, assisting in their search for a Tax and Treasury Accountant. Sitting in an established team, you will be responsible for all Treasury related duties across the business, managing all cash requirements and advising on how the business can minimise risks and maximise interest returns. You will also take ownership of Tax compliance, in particular UK and indirect tax compliance. Some duties will include: Daily cash receipt and supplier payment tracking Advise and execute foreign currency trade and transfers Enhance treasury policies Manage detailed customs/duty reclaims Own and improve the UK VAT return processes EC Sales List and Intrastat reporting Support advisors in preparing tax provisions and computations and much, much more. This role is suitable for an ACA/ACCA Qualified candidate, ideally from a practice background who has a strong interest in both treasury and tax, ideally with some previous practical experience.
