Temporary Finance Assistant Guildford, 2 - 3 month assignment, £13 - £15 per hour We need a hands-on, immediately available Finance Assistant who is super talented and hardworking to start with our client as soon as possible. This is working for a brilliant telecommunications company near Guildford, they have a great team, lovely manager and welcoming culture. This is an initial 2 - 3 months assignment with a potential temporary to permanent opportunity. The Role The successful temporary Finance Assistant must have a strong AP background gained over several years. They are happy to train in elements of the role, but a core basic understanding is essential. This will be joining a run team of 5 and will be reporting directly into the Finance Manager. There will be lots of exposure to the senior leadership as people are always asking questions - the ability to explain issues and queries is important. Key responsibilities Maintaining UK & US payrolls Single point of contact for payroll queries Processing payroll bureau entries for France PAYE returns & payments Maintaining multi-currency bank accounts, posting transactions and applying correct exchange rates where applicable Arranging bank payments Bank reconciliations Cash Forecasting Raising Sales Invoices Credit Control Overseeing purchase ledger input & statement reconciliation process Answering supplier calls & queries Processing staff expenses Your profile We just need a nice, normal and super talented temporary Finance Assistant.
