Overview

Surveyor / Contracts Manager Permanent - Hampshire / Surrey £40,000 - £45,000 plus car or car allowance We are looking for a Surveyor / Contracts Manager for a new role based in the Surrey / North Hampshire area. This is with a dynamic and progressive company who are looking for someone to join them due to the acquisition of a new clients and the opening of a new branch. Job role and responsibilities Working within a team (admin support staff, direct trades & sub-contractors) in the residential repair’s division you will be dealing with insurance reinstatement projects following fire, flood, escape of water and subsidence damage. Duties: surveying properties, diagnosing defects and then scoping/estimating repair works scheduling & programming the relevant trades in to complete the works and overseeing the projects from inception to completion ensuring Health & Safety checks & paperwork is complete keeping track of the projects throughout and making sure the homeowner & insurance company are informed as to progress. Projects range in value from £1,000 - £50k and you will need to ensuring the targeted margin is hit, within agreed SLA’s and complete to the customers satisfaction passing it onto accounts for invoicing. What skills/experience will you need? For this Contracts Manager / Surveyor role you will need to have: a proven track record of producing accurate scope of works on private domestic properties repairs (insurance works) validation/repudiation experience and have also dealt with subsidence claims and drying out properties following water damage an excellent knowledge of trades and relevant costs within this industry and be able to understand/interpret and produce an accurate schedule of works confidence in using various IT packages (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.) - training for the specific in-house systems will be provided. Package details In addition to the Contracts Manager / Surveyor salary (negotiable dependent upon experience around £40 - £45k) you will receive paid holiday, pension etc. as well as a company car (or allowance).
