They create, promote and deliver high quality technical conferences for the engineering community. They are currently expanding the business and searching for talented individuals to join the high performing conference production team. JOB DESCRIPTION The role involves Project management: coordinating the requirements of the in-house team, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of all events, to deadline and within budget Onsite delivery: coordinating all onsite activity, liaising with the venue, A/V supplier, photographer, and the in-house team to ensure an efficient yet highly customer-focused experience on the day Attendee management: running the registration desk and overseeing the effective management of attendee registrations and fees, the conference room, exhibition area, and live demo lab rooms Post event wrap up - calculating speaker evaluations and sending them their report, together with presentation materials and other onsite materials to wrap up the event Post event de-brief: coordinating the post event de-brief meeting with contributions from the whole project team, writing up, distributing and filing the de-brief report, and overseeing the implementation of new ideas and processes to ensure continuous process improvement and cost-reduction Event P&L management: chasing in supplier invoices, updating the event P&L with logistics costs as they arise to provide real-time visibility on event expenditure and profitability WHO FITS THE BILL 2:1 degree or higher in Event Management degree or similar subject 3 A’Levels at grade B or above Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong influencing, persuasion and relationship building skills Meticulous organisation, prioritisation and project management skills Great problem-solving skills and consistent solution orientation Ability to work under pressure and to deadline whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail Good knowledge of negotiating and working with international venues Ability to work through a CRM such as Salesforce
