Purchase Ledger Clerk Salford Salary £20, 000 per annum Walters People are partnering a well-established global business in their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a permanent position, reporting to our clients Finance Manager the Purchase Ledger Clerk will be involved with tasks as follows: Match supplier invoices to GRNs. Communicate differences to relevant personnel, quantity disputes to branches, price disputes to buyers and goods returns to suppliers. Reconcile supplier statements to what's captured, requesting any documents not received. Follow up any queries until they've reached resolution. We are seeking an individual that is methodical in their approach with excellent communication skills. This role works heavily around stock therefore previous exposure to an environment that holds stock is essential in order to be considered for this role. Other skills required as follows: Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel Experience within purchase ledger or an accounts environment - essential Deadline driven High levels of accuracy Key responsibilities: Ensure all stock invoices entered on to the system within deadlines Invoices in query to be followed up twice daily Liaise internally with relevant departments and suppliers regarding issues with deliveries, price disputes and stock to be collected Reconciliations of creditor statements Request invoices/credit notes not received as per statement reconciliations Perform adhoc duties as required.
