Position: Technical Assessor Location: Liverpool, Cheshire, Hinckley or Gwent Job type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £Competitive Benefits: Competitive salary plus annual bonus. 33 days holiday per year (including BH), pension, Life assurance. This role would suit those who have recently graduated or had one or two years relevant work experience. About the role: They are looking for an ambitious technical Assessor with chemistry background to join the Technical Assessment team. Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance of all waste quotes with current legislation, Tradebe’s Permits, Waste Management Licences and within strict KPI’s. - Liaise with internal and external laboratories where sample analysis is required. - To ensure that all Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) are identified as both a technical and or financial NCR and the appropriate information is passed to the originator of the enquiry in a timely manner within strict KPI’s. - To control waste acceptance / analysis operations in line with the company’s ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems. - Liaise with customers, operations, compliance, customer services and sales to ensure customer satisfaction. About you: - Minimum HNC in Chemistry. - Ability to demonstrate an in-depth appreciation and understanding of technical / chemical waste analysis, management operation, customers and processes. - IT literate (Microsoft office, essential. SAP experience is desirable). You may have experience of the following: Process Engineer, Technical Administrator, Data Analyst, Data Analysis, Waste Management, Recycling, Facilities, Waste disposal, Compliance, etc. Ref: 92768
