Manufacturing Manager £40,000 - £45,000 Are you an experienced Manufacturing Production Manager with strong exposure to machining , CNC, assembly , Strong Management skills and able to run a busy production workshop? Looking to work with a leading Manufacturing business who have a strong order book and are currently experiencing a massive period of sustained growth? This Manufacturing Manager role may be ideally suited to your needs. The company is a very well-established company who are a leading manufacturer in their sector and continually looking to push forward. They have a strong reputation in the industry and are well regarded with a high level of repeat business. Due to their current level of business they are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager to report into the Managing Director and oversee the management of all production activity. Overseeing a number of simultaneous builds, you will work closely with the operational team to meet production deadlines and budgetary constraints. Getting highly involved with the complete production cycle. You will need to communicate delays, updates and completion dates across the business. You will play a key role in managing resources including labour, workshop capability and material levels. Key responsibilities for the Manufacturing Manager role are: To effectively manage the staff and priorities within the assembly department. Working with goods in and stores to manage the timely kitting of materials to support production. Ensure all resource planning is in line with the build strategy, staff capability and customer expectations. Work with the management team to ensure effective monitoring of the production, maintaining schedule to a budget. Ensure efficient utilisation of workshop space and tooling requirements Manage the quality of each project to ensure each system produced meets our high standard About You: Background in managing the production of a fast pace production environment. Knowledge of CNC Machinery Ideally a relevant engineering / Manufacturing qualification. Discipline Strong communication and reporting skills Experience of managing engineering and project teams within manufacturing Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple issues This is a key role within the company and comes with an excellent basic salary, plus associated benefits with a strong opportunity for progression and training. Working Monday to Friday you will be required to work 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm rotating to cover both shifts.
