Product Owner LocationHove Group Digital Salary: 46,000 -64,400 A reputable financial organisation based in Hove are seeking a talented and technology-Product Owners to join their organisation and play a pivotal role in delivering multiple projects. Job Summary We are looking for a technical Product Owner who will be managing both security (new password-less login) & registration (friction-less enrolment) product for L&G Group Digital. Teams are already formed for both products, and the candidate will come on-board to deliver these to completion and work with the business to roll these out to across all L&G businesses. The product owner will be working with key stakeholders to build ongoing development roadmaps, as well as defining and delivering ongoing registration campaigns and BAU comms to drive increased registration. Product visionary Collaborate with Head of Product Strategy to create an inspiring vision and strategy for the product throughout its lifecycle. Help to communicate the vision to all levels of stakeholders across the business. Use the vision to help motivate the delivery team by providing purpose. Product caretaker Be responsible for the stability, success and growth of the product using good development practices, gathering feedback from users and by enhancing it using data-led insight into business need. Stakeholder- product team mediator Help stakeholders gain business value from the development of the product. Help them to understand the needs of the product team whilst helping the product team understand the needs of the stakeholder. Domain expert Develop a solid understanding of users, the market place, the competition and future trends for the domain or type of system being developed. Product performance analyst Measure the monthly performance of the product through analytics and customer feedback. Work closely with the Head of Product Strategy to make decisions to ensure the product continues to deliver both customer and commercial value, whilst continuing to meet and exceed annual targets. Product backlog manager Own the backlog of work for the product team. Set the priority of the work and ensure the team have enough information to start. Be available to the team for questions so they can continue to work, unimpeded. Proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the preparation and monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness Required Skills Degree level or equivalent experience Product development, software development practices, Agile, Web security, Web Analytics, User experience (UX) techniques Proven experience in a product ownership role Experience of end-to-end delivery of digital projects Be a super user of the product with great communication skills and enthusiasm for the business domain and technology Alternatively, have long term experience of the L&G business and working with stakeholders, great communication skills and enthusiasm for the business domain and technology Benefits Whatever your role, rewards ability, performance and attitude with a package that looks after things that matter to you.
