Overview

An Interim Management Accountant 9-month FTC opportunity, paying circa £51,000 within the education sector. Your new company This company operates within the education sector in Edinburgh. Due to an increased demand on the finance function, an Interim Management Accountant opportunity has become available. Your new role On a day to day basis, you will be working as part of the Finance team to deliver a range of financial services and specifically support the production of the monthly management accounting. You will be expected to present this information to the wider business and provide a clear explanation of the projected financial budgeting and forecasting. You will also provide detailed information on complex technical accounting regulations in line with the current UK GAAP and IFRS. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with a background in managing accounts. You will be familiar with accurate and timely financial management reporting as well as an understanding of statutory financial reporting. What you'll get in return You will be offered a salary circa £51,000 for a 9-month FTC with the company. There may be an opportunity for the contract to be extended depending on demand, and remote working will be the only option at this current time. The team are well equipped to take on a new member of staff at this time, and are open to providing the necessary support needed to have a smooth transition into the company.
