IT Field Engineer

IT Field Engineer - Epos An IT Epos Engineer is required to join Services provider in Derbyshire. They provide Epos services to retail and hospitability companies. They have had a lot of client success over the last couple of years and are now looking to expand their team. You'll join a small support team in the field, working to support clients with hardware and software issues. This role will suit a support engineer who has been working in a 1st or 2nd line position and is looking for an opportunity to progress within a well-established organisation. What will you be doing? Working in the field supporting clients in a company Van to implement new systems and support old ones. Supporting EPOS systems Identify the cause of recurring problems and could educate clients how to troubleshoot to reduce the amount of tickets. Traveling to different sites when needed on a rota basis including weekends Taking lead on new projects Your skills: Great Problem Solver Experience supporting EPOS systems Windows Sever (hardware) Professional phone manner Windows operating system Keeping within SLA's Must: Have a full driving licence Working hours are a shift system based on a 37.5 hour week averaged over a 5 week rota.
