Overview

Health and Safety Compliance Manager to join a leading London asset management firm reporting to the Director of Property. The role is instrumental in ensuring that a substantial residential investment portfolio is legally compliant and adopts best practice in relation to all H&S matters and that fire risk assessments, H&S obligations, and statutory requirements are implemented. Responsibilities will include: Reviewing fire risk assessments, and H&S audits ensuring these up to date and all priority actions and recommendations are implemented within recommended timeframes. Monitoring and dealing with Notices from statutory authorities. Maintaining the database of building construction materials used, building surveys, tests, certifications, warranties, planning and building regulations. Attending site meetings with managing agents, stakeholders and statutory bodies. Successful candidates will have the following: Knowledge of building construction and maintenance of low/high residential blocks; building/defects surveys affecting the integrity and safety of the building and its occupants.
