Overview
Systems Service Engineer. Our client is a leading UK Automation solutions provider and systems integrator, using the latest Automation technologies to deliver best-in-class solutions to help our customers achieve their business objectives. This is a field based role and you will be expected to do cove the UK and some international travel. But most work will be within 2 hours travel. Systems Service Engineer - Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs of equipment as necessary Working on complete Electrical Control Systems you will provide prompt, thorough support to customers both on-site and remotely for a range of equipment including PLC, AC/DC drives, Robots and SCADA Support installation, commissioning activities, field troubleshooting and upgrade work Provide technical support to customers on-site and remotely Participate as a member of an on-call rota for out of hours support Undertake site audit when necessary Systems Service Engineer - Knowledge, Skills & Experience Previous experience with control systems and / or industrial drives Working knowledge and understanding of some of the major manufacturers equipment to include PLC, drives, SCADA and systems Full Driving licence Hours of Work: 40hrs per week This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89859587
