Shift Engineer – M&E – Electrical bias Based in Bristol Permanent £38,000 basic Overtime An opportunity has been made vacant to work for an excellent facilities services’ provider who are keen on development of their engineers by providing progression and training packages to exceed an Engineer’s skill set. The company have expanded in recent years creating more opportunities to acquire new contracts which is allowing for the expansion and progression in teams. As a Technician for the contract you will be working in Bristol on a Continental Shift rota where the site is a critical environment dealing with clients as well as tenant side too. This position will include 20 shift days of annual leave, with training and development packages through-out. The work required is general building services carrying out any checks or repairs that are needed on site relating to M&E maintenance. Duties include, but not limited to; · Planned & Reactive maintenance (PPM Schedule Emergency repairs) · Electrical – Lighting & Power Systems; · UPS shutdowns, LV Switching, emergency lighting, sprinkler/alarm checks, 3-phase, motors, and generators. · AC unit maintenance; AHU/FCU repairs and checks, VRV/VRF systems · Mechanical; Pumps, pipe work repairs, plant room maintenance, plumbing, cooling towers, legionella, chlorifiers, and pressurisation units (training is provided) · Fault finding · Remedial works Qualifications/Experience required: · C&G/NVQ in Electrical Installation · C&G 2382/BS7671 Regulations · Any additional qualifications is a bonus · Relevant experience within a similar role · Ensure regular communication with service coordinators, supervisors, contract managers and where necessary client representatives at all times.
