Electrical Design Engineer Stockport Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 Job Ref: 20653 An experienced Electrical Engineer familiar with the preparation of professional engineering reports is required to work with a major Engineering Consultant in the City Centre of Stockport. You will need experience of working within a similar Engineering Consultants and producing Electrical Design calculations and models. The post duties will include the undertaking of electrical design services on a local and national basis in accordance with the client's contract scope, current regulations, British and client standards. An Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the undertaking and preparation of designs/briefs, specifications, feasibility studies, site inspection, commissioning and maintenance testing/certification, associated with a varied range of M&E Building Services and Infrastructure electrical services. You will be designing across a range of Electrical Building Services Design Applications, including but not limited to MV/ LV main distribution, Lighting (general and emergency), Small power, Lightning protection, Life critical alarm, security and access systems, Control and building management systems. Your experience will cover all types of building developments and establishments from new build to partial and complete refurbishment's including Commercial, Retail, Sports Stadia, Universities, Hospitals, Police, MOD, Prison, Residential, Industrial and Rail Station. You need to be competent in the use of industry standard electrical design software such as Amtech and lighting software (DIALux/Relux) and general office software applications and be familiar with AutoCAD.
