A market leading and well established manufacturer of special purpose machinery for the Food manufacturing industry are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team due to continued growth. You will have experience in the mechanical design of special purpose machinery, conveyor system or similar. Commutable from: Southam, Daventry, Northampton, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Towcester, Brackley, Buckingham, Banbury, Leamington spa Salary £ 28,000p.a. - £ 33,000 p.a. Pension Free car parking Benefits The Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will; Design, Develop and after support for Special Purpose Machinery solutions for food processing systems Use advanced CAD design software to produce 3D and 2D models of mechanical components and assemblies Modifications, updates and improvements to existing and legacy equipment Liaising with production team and/or suppliers in regards to parts design drawings Creating parts lists and BOMs Ensure design solutions are to clients specifications and budgets Customer Meetings to define specification brief, progress updates and customer after support The Person A Mechanical Design Engineer with; Experience in the design of special purpose machinery, conveyors or similar manufacturing equipment A sound understanding of general engineering drafting principles Solidworks CAD experience highly desirable Degree or Engineering qualification such as HND, HNC or equivalent To apply for the role of Mechanical Design Engineer please send an up to date CV.
