A dynamic managed service team has an exciting opportunity for a 3rd Line IT Support Analyst to join their team based in Birchwood, Warrington. They are a leading IT Solutions provider offering a range of products from on-premise, hybrid to cloud solutions for the SME market. They cover a broad spectrum of technologies including networking, physical and virtual server implementation and storage solutions along with management of the many software systems which their customers depend on. About the role: Due to growth, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 3rd Line IT Support Analyst to join their dynamic managed service team based within Birchwood, Warrington. You will be responsible for ensuring that any desktop, server and network related issues are dealt with effectively and in a timely manner. Support is provided both remotely and on-site at client sites. Locations are predominantly within the North West but some travel further afield will be required. The role offers a very open and flexible work scope which gives the right candidate an excellent opportunity to expand their knowledge and work on new and exciting systems. This is very much a "make it your own" role where the work is limited by your own abilities and drive. Responsibilities: Reviewing support tickets and managing through to resolution (ITIL Framework) Active Directory- Administration / Management Microsoft Exchange - Administration / Management Windows Server - DHCP / DNS / IIS / GPO / WSUS / WDS Windows 10 - Administration / Management VMware / Hyper-V - Configuration / Installation / Administration Networking - Configuration of HP Switches / Cisco ASA Firewall, Switches / Router Management Cloud - Office 365 / Azure Managing backups - Veeam Patch management for 3rd party software Maintaining a high level of security, performance controls, and compliance Ensuring all documentation regarding the infrastructure / network is up to date Taking ownership of issues and using initiative whilst working calmly under pressure Liaising with clients About you: 3 years' experience within a 3rd line role with strong infrastructure and networking skills are required.
