The Job: The vitally important role of Night Carer is available now for an empathetic, talented & caring professional. The Care Home: A modern, award-winning, care home set within manicured lawns and gardens with facilities that include bistro/coffee shop; hairdressing salon; library; corner-shop; outdoor facilities & activities; reception, cinema lounge & activity lounges . This award-winning care home that offers respite care; convalescent care; elderly-nursing and residential-dementia care in a modern home with traditional values; set in its own grounds in North-East London. Excellent record of resident & family care and CQC relationship in addition to winning awards at the “Great British Care Awards”. The Challenge: To positively impact this established home, its teams and most importantly, its residents and their families, in delivering top-quality care. To show a caring, empathetic attitude whilst delivering professional, award-winning care. To have a passion to offer: great person-centred care; service, respect & dignity to/for all; a great eye-for-detail; a desire to enhance the residents living experience. To take relevant responsibility for the upkeep, quality and recording of care plans; care & activities in addition to the day-to-day communications with departmental services such as: food and beverage, housekeeping & maintenance; reception & administration. The Person: To be a flexible, caring person, able to assist with personal tasks, leisure activities and administrative duties with/for the residents, whilst offering emotional support and positivity to aid your resident’s well-being. To ensure that the consistent levels of care offered, match and exceed residents, their families’ and the authority’s expectations. Have an attention-to-detail operationally to help ensure the business achieves sustainability and improves on its existing excellent reputation. Have a personality and profile to project a positive, professional and friendly image to the residents, their families, all stakeholders and our teams throughout the home. Have self-discipline, organisational skills with meticulous grooming standards. Having the support network at home that ensure you can work permanently on a constant night-shift roster (4 days on, working 2000hrs-0800hrs; 3 days off per week), whilst achieving that work-life balance. Have good written and verbal communication skills including English and have evidence of legal eligibility to work in UK.
