About the Role: As a Support Worker at our brand new service, Regents Terrace, you will work with people who have varying degrees of mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism and highly challenging behaviour. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. Whilst no two days are the same typically, you'll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support. We are currently recruiting BANK support workers on 0hr contracts, so you can pick up shifts on an ad-hoc basis within your availability. Due to the needs of the people we will be supporting, i t would be great if you've previously worked as a Support Worker with experience of mental health and/or challenging behaviour.
