About the Role: As a Support Worker delivering Outreach support in Normanton, you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities. Whilst no two days are the same typically, you'll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support. We are currently recruiting a team of support workers for a brand new package of support working 8:15-16:15 on a rota basis with your colleagues, inclusive of alternate weekends. No experience or qualifications are necessary as full training will be provided. Your enthusiasm and passion to really care is what we're looking for. However, you do need to be a car driver with your own vehicle for this role.
