Overview
Senior Technical Consultant Financial Software House is seeking a client facing Senior Technical Consultant. The new Senior Technical Consultant will be predominantly based from the Company’s Surrey office but will also travel across the EMEA region supporting the Company’s many clients with a suite of highly mathematical software products. As a Senior Technical Consultant you will provide client-facing pre-sales support, carry out software implementations and integrate the Company's software products meeting the clients requirements. The new Senior Technical Consultant will become part of a wider software team and will be responsible for; On-site and remote installation, configuration and support of enterprise software; recommending appropriate bespoke solutions where required. Providing technical input (infrastructure) and support to development teams. Providing pre-sales technical support to consultants and the sales teams. Training clients on installation and on-going support of advanced software products. We’re seeking a Senior Technical Consultant that has a real eye for detail and enjoys problem solving. Given that this Senior Technical Consultant role is operating across the EMEA region it would be highly desirable if you spoke a second language (in addition to the English language) but this is not essentialwhat is; Ability to understand complex IT architectures. Good knowledge of server hardware and configuration. Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory and networking knowledge. SQL Server database experience including SQL, maintenance and optimisation. Microsoft Azure Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills. This Senior Technical Consultant position is paying a starting basic salary up to £85,000 (based on ability as well as experience) an extensive Company benefits package including Annual Bonus, Private Medical Package and Company Pension.
