Mechanical Design Engineer

We are market leading design and manufacturer of life saving devices, we are seeking a new Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be involved in the full product life cycle and be an engineer at heart, someone who for engineering isn't just a job. The role involves working alongside a team of Designers and reporting to the Engineering Director, where you will be responsible for your own projects, but we encourage support within the team to ensure we continue to deliver hight quality products. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team who; Has over 18 months experience in full product lifecycle Design Is someone who possibly likes to work on their own engineering projects outside of work Mechanical engineering background in respect to industry or education Is proficient in 3D CAD (pref is ProE) Produced design for manufacture drawings As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for; Design and development of products Concept design through to production Involved in rapid prototyping and surface modelling Working closely with manufacturing to ensure design work feasibility If you are interested in working for an engineering company that provide life saving equipment and devices, then please apply within or contact James Ewart at Orion Electrotech.
