About the role Surrey County Council is undergoing a radical transformation programme across all directorates, led by elected Members. In order to support the transformation and challenges that the council faces, the Leadership Office is looking for two Cabinet Support Officers to effectively manage, organise and prioritise the Cabinet Team's work programme. At its heart, the County Council is a democratically-led organisation. The Leadership Office provides support to the political and corporate leadership of the Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced and political environment. We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with strong inter-personal skills. You will be responsible for: managing Cabinet Member diaries; managing correspondence with a range of stakeholders, including MPs and residents; planning events; and supporting specific projects for key political priorities.
