Overview
Assistant Accountant | Lincoln | £26,500 Study McCarthy Adams Recruitment are currently working in partnership with an established organisation based in Lincoln where they are looking to strengthen their finance team with an experienced, capable & driven Assistant Accountant. As the Assistant Accountant duties will include: Act as the lead on the statutory accounts production, with guidance and support from the Financial Controller. Manage the accounts for a number of entities, and look at automating and driving efficiencies with this process Support the Financial Controller with all compliance-related activities including audit and tax, producing the monthly returns Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations Posting of standard journals, e.g. accruals, recharges Management and maintenance of the fixed assets Support the Financial Controller with other monthly activities Produce weekly cash flow forecasts Provide Management information and reporting on a timely basis As the Assistant Accountant you will provide comprehensive financial reporting and accounts administration to the business as a whole.
