Overview
My client in Cardiff are a prestigious government organisation. They're seeking a Lead Statistican / Data Scientist on a three month contractual basis. The individual will lead ten people across four teams. These teams are: Official Statistics Corporate Insight (MI) BI Intelligence Operational Research Experience and skills required: The Lead Statistician should have strong analytical and data interpretation skills Advanced statistical expertise in a variety of area and topics Statistical programming and modelling with experience across a wide variety of topics Project management skills, organisational and matrix management skills with the ability to proactively prioritise projects Budgeting and resourcing skills Leadership and mentoring skills
