Project Manager | £80,000 - £90,000 | South West London | Residential | Permanent A Project Manager role with a difference Imagine working on some of the UK's most interesting heritage and landmark projects and carefully restoring properties back to their former glory, retaining original features whilst introducing modern day technology and thinking. We are now looking for a Project Manager to do exactly that. After visiting one of their current schemes this week -which incidentally is a 6-year project comprising of the refurbishment of historical buildings alongside some new build housing and other infrastructure I was blown away by the quality of their work and the attention to detail involved in their work. The Project Manager will form part of a fantastic delivery team and balance the day to day management of the project whilst simultaneously managing a variety of staff to include but not limited to site managers, commercial manager, design manager, direct labour, sub-contractors and suppliers. Some of your responsibilities: Agree a budget and cashflow for the project and ultimately assume responsibility for achieving the budget and the cashflow Agree all project milestones and deliver to these Ensure all health and safety requirements and obligations are met Produce and present a range of accurate reports detailing as the project progresses Ensure high quality construction procedures are consistently adhered to in order to minimise defects and ensure standards are met in terms of specification, overall design and aesthetics Must Haves: Comprehensive experience in a Project Manager capacity, running complex and profitable schemes Proven experience of working on heritage projects would be a distinct advantage Outstanding leadership and motivational skills Thorough understanding of all current health and safety legislation Genuine passion for restoring listed and heritage buildings Financially / Commercially aware Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Play a key role in restoring some of the nation's finest heritage buildings Apply now or call Billy on for more information.
