Overview
Refuse Loaders required in Bedford Refuse Loaders to carry out recycling from local households in this busy period. Refuse Loaders - £8.21 per hour for first 12 weeks ( £8.72 as of 1st April) after 12 weeks £9.74 Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm but there is a task and finish arrangement in place and you will need to stay until the task is finished Anything worked over 42.5 hrs a week will be paid as overtime x1.5 Refuse Loaders must be fully fit and able, you will be required to walk along distance collecting recycling bins from households. You will be collecting domestic, recycling & trade waste, and litter picking, within Bedford. Duties include - Collection of all waster on allocated round including service collections/missed collections - Ensure all work is carried out in a courteous and efficient manner. - Delivery of sacks/containers to properties when required. - Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly/safely; take steps to ensure that vehicles stay within legal weight limit. - Utilise all safety equipment and comply with Health & Safety legislation - Assist the driver whilst reversing at all times. - Assist with jobs in the yard including washing out bins.
