Overview
REED Leicester Accountancy are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join an Industry leading organisation in Leicestershire. Roles and responsibilities: All aspects of management accounting including; - Supervising a small team of Finance Staff - Working closely with other staff, explaining the impact of the financial issues on site and at remote locations, usually by telephone, email or Skype - Having input to the production, monitoring and reporting of cashflows - Sales ledger management, including the raising of invoices, debt analysis and collection - Developing Sage 200 Reporting - Assisting with credit control duties including setting of credit terms and limits and cash chasing - Performance reporting, setting budgets and various variance analyses, as well as having a practical understanding of the reasons for variance - Forecasting across divisions, and a good understanding of revenue recognition and being able to explain it - Being able to explain monthly financials to business leaders and other key non-financial managers - Having a good understanding of the accounting standards, - Producing reports for the Board pack - Assisting with the audits, year end, factoring, internal group, liaising with the Auditors and preparing aspects of the audit files - Working closely with the CFO to produce monthly management reports, ensuring monthend deadlines are met - Producing and developing annual departmental budgets, monitoring and reporting against - Supervising the procurement billing process and supporting the Finance Manager ensuring HMRC compliance Person Specification: - CIMA or equivalent professional qualification - Minimum 2 years relevant experience in similar role - Strong technical accounting skills - Strong reporting skills (presentation and relevance of information) If you would like to be considered for this role then click 'Apply' or Call Reed Accountancy Leicester.
