Overview

Deputy IT Manager- Bolton - up to £45,000 You will be working closely with the IT Manager in a busy and growing IT environment that covers 5 sites across the UK. Due to the on-going project work that is happening you will be expected to lead the support team on a day to day basis, managing the work flow across the team as well as carrying out technical support yourself. You will be managing a technical environment that includes Active Directory, VMware, Windows servers 2016, Windows 10 desktops and work to ITIL practices for IT service management. Longer term there are a number of projects plans that you will be involved in covering office moves, ISO27001 roll out and to make sure that the IT System are best prepared to accommodate the projected growth of the company. You will be working for one of the north west's leading investment companies with a client base of well over 180,000 clients, managing investments well in to the millions of pounds. Essential skills: Supported MS Windows 2016 File server environment, Windows 10 desktop operating system, Active Directory Knowledge of supporting a VMware environment Worked in an ITIL environment Carried out team leading / mentoring duties for IT teams.
