Health and Social Care Assessor This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company and be a part of continued growth within the apprenticeship industry. This well established, national private training provider is looking to expand their delivery into the Yorkshire region and are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor to join their existing team. You will be delivering Levels 2,3 and 5 Health and Social Care (including functional skills) to learners in their place of work (Care Home/Domiciliary Care settings). Benefits include: £28k-£30k annual salary Compliance bonus linked to KPI's - £3k-£6k per annum Company Pension Travel Expenses (paid from home) Mobile Phone & Laptop Continuous Professional Development Health and Social Care Assessor: Job duties and responsibilities: Manage and visit a caseload of learners monthly in line with the company standards Deliver Functional Skills training and support to each learner as required Motivate and drive learners to achieve their work-based qualifications within agreed timescales Support the learning process through flexible learning units and facilitating workplace on the job training as required, including classroom-based delivery Plan the assessment process with learners and employers; observe, record assessment, feedback and complete all documentation Throughout learner qualification provide information, advice and guidance Maintain paperwork to the required standard; accurately and within a timely fashion Health and Social Care Assessor: Essential Skills and Experience A relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32, TAQA, CAVA etc) A relevant teaching qualification (7307, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert.Ed. etc) Experienced in delivering Health & Social Care, up to Level 5 Occupational competency within Health & Social Care Proficient in the use of e-portfolio systems Experienced in delivering functional skills Classroom/Workshop delivery experience (desirable, not essential) Please Note: Oakmoor Recruitment receive a high number of applications and are not always able to respond to unsuccessful candidates.
